Our main priority here at Jordanelles Shiba Inus is to safeguard the breed and to help in any way possible to breed Shibas to as near the breed standard as possible.
We have our show / breeding stock eye tested for glaucoma and cataracts.
Last test was April 2009 and all tested clear on both tests.
This site is dedicated to the JAPANESE SHIBA INU
We have had the Shiba Inu only a couple of years after seeing one on tv and fell in love with them.

We currently have 3 Shibas.
The first girl we bought is called Mia and although she was loving the show ring, didnt turn out as we had expected. Now she is a lady of leisure at home chilling out.
Our second Shiba we bought was Mika. She was a better example of the breed and we have had some good results with her in the ring. She qualified for Crufts 2009 at Manchester Championship show at her first attempt. But she has had a rest from showing as she blew her coat and wasnt looking her best. Hopefully we are planning on giving her a few run out this year. So look out for her.

Our 3rd Shiba is Kenzo. Hes been doing very well in the rings. On his 1st Championship show in December 2008 we entered him in 2 classes just to get him qualified for Crufts, but to our amazement he not only won both classes went onto win Reserve Dog CC.
He is now qualified for life to enter Crufts and has a stud book number
Also at Open shows hes been winning the adult and puppy groups. And have also won Best Ppppy in Show and hes still only 10months old.
